Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SpinDex AI application (also branded “Spindex”; “SpinDex AI”, “the app”, “we”, “our”, “us”), provided by Generalsoft. By downloading, installing, or using SpinDex AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Use of the app

SpinDex AI is a personal productivity tool. You may use it for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or to any connected systems.

2. Accounts and verification

Certain features may require an email address and verification. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the tasks, notes, attachments, and other content you create in SpinDex AI (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and process Your Content solely to provide and improve the service, including cloud sync and AI processing as configured by you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you upload and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

4. Third-party services

SpinDex AI may integrate with third-party services, including Google Firebase, the generalsoft.ai backend, calendar and contacts providers, and AI servers you configure (such as Ollama). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.

5. AI-generated content

SpinDex AI can provide AI-generated suggestions and analysis. AI output is provided for convenience and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purposes. You are solely responsible for reviewing and relying on AI-generated content and for any decisions you make based on it.

6. Availability and changes

We do not guarantee that SpinDex AI will be available at all times or free of errors. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

7. Intellectual property

SpinDex AI and its original content, features, and design are owned by Generalsoft and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the app except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

SpinDex AI is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will meet your requirements or operate without interruption or error.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Generalsoft and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the app.

10. Termination

You may stop using SpinDex AI at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Generalsoft operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
