Frequently asked questions

How do I create a task?

Tap the + New Task button in the bottom-right corner, type or dictate a title, choose a category and color, and save.

How do I use voice input?

Tap the microphone icon next to the title field and speak naturally. Your words appear in real time. Tap the mic again to stop.

How do I save a memory note?

Start a task title with “remember ” (for example, “remember the wifi password is abcd1234”). SpinDex AI stores it as a memory the AI can recall later.

How do I set up AI?

Go to Settings → Ollama, enter your server URL (for example, http://192.168.1.100:11434), and tap Fetch Models to pick a model. SpinDex AI works with your own local AI server.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete tasks and memories in the app, or clear the app’s data in your device settings. For full deletion of cloud data, see our Data Deletion page.
